MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />DECEMBER 7, 1994 <br />ADJOURN <br />Corridor Comprehensive Plan Update as presented by the <br />City Planner with the modifications made by the <br />Planning Commission this evening. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />Davison stated that he would like to see further <br />comment on the sidewalk issue along Rice Street. <br />The Planner pointed out that there is discussion of <br />this issue on page 20 of the Plan. <br />The Planner reported that the total Comp Plan update <br />will consist of approximately seven neighborhood <br />components similar to the Rice Street one. <br />Bob DeBace asked if Little Canada Road will be upgraded <br />next year. If so, the sidewalk issue should be <br />addressed as part of that upgrade. <br />DeLonais thought the Little Canada Road upgrade would <br />happen in 1996. <br />The Planner also pointed out that should the Gateway <br />Project proceed, the City will try to get the developer <br />to put sidewalks in as part of the project. This would <br />also be tied into the County's Little Canada Road <br />project. <br />DeLonais felt that sidewalks should be located on the <br />north side of Little Canada Road. <br />Schletty recommended that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Davison. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />Administrative Assistant <br />8 <br />Page 106 <br />
