6. Reporting of Results
Anderson - Niebuhr is committed to providing survey results in a
manner that will be of maximum use to the City. We will provide a
report that:
• Utilizes a graphic, clear style of reporting data
♦ Summarizes the results from the research data
♦ Summarizes the research method used
• Presents key descriptive findings in tables and computer
generated graphics
• Discusses statistically significant results
♦ Presents recommendations based on the findings
The City will receive five copies of the report (four bound and one
unbound). If desired, Anderson - Niebuhr researchers are also
available to make a presentation of the results.
Relationship to Client
All phases of our research assume continuous communication with
our clients to ensure that we are meeting their needs at every step
of the process.
It is our policy to maintain close contact with clients throughout all
phases of the research project. We work with our clients to define
the research direction and are committed to keeping our clients
informed as the study progresses to ensure that the data collected
will be maximally useful when the project is completed.
Research Options
If the budget available for this research is limited, the City may
wish to consider one of the following options as an altemative to
the survey of 100 businesses:
♦ Conduct in -depth telephone interviews with 20 key
business leaders in the community, or
♦ Conduct focus group with business people in the
community.
These options are qualitative approaches and will not provide
quantitative statistical data. However, they can provide much
useful information at less cost.
12
Page 20
