MTC CONTRACT NO, <br />DRAFT 7/26/93 <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />1.3.1 No submittals are required. <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />1.4.1 The projected project schedule is for delivery of bus stop signs and <br />bus stop route number and destination holders in the Spring and <br />Summer of 1994. <br />1.4.2 MTC shall deliver bus stop signs and bus stop route number and <br />destination holders to the City. <br />1.4.3 Bus stop signs and bus stop route number and destination holders <br />shall be delivered to the City packaged in substantial cartons with <br />each sign and holder individually protected to preclude the <br />possibility of damage. <br />1.4.4 The City shall handle and store the bus stop signs and holders in a <br />secure and dry location, stacking them on pallets or other means of <br />providing air circulation between the floor surface and the cartons. <br />1 .5 INSPECTION <br />1.5.1 The City shall notify the MTC of signs or holders found to be <br />defective. The City shall not install damaged or defective products. <br />1.5.2 The MTC shall replace quantities of defective signs or holders. <br />PART 2.. PRODUCTS <br />2.1 POSTS <br />2.1.1 The City shall supply galvanized pipe, galvanized or primed and <br />painted channel posts, for mounting the signs and holders at bus <br />stopping points where needed. <br />2.1.2 The City shall provide suitable post anchor devices where necessary, <br />conforming to MMUTCD break -away requirements. <br />MTC CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT <br />EXHIBIT D <br />Page 136 <br />
