MTC CONTRACT NO, <br />DRAFT 7/26/93 <br />2.2 HARDWARE <br />2.2.1 Hardware furnished and installed by the City shall be either <br />stainless steel or rust protected, and shall be of the best type and <br />quality available for the intended purposes. <br />2.2.2 Schematic configuration of hardware type and channel post splice is <br />shown for information purposes, Attachment No. 1. <br />2.2.3 MTC shall furnish two (2) nylon washers with each new bus stop sign <br />(T = 1/32" MIN., I.D. = 3/8" MAX., O.D. = 7/8" MAX.). <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />The City shall provide all labor, material and equipment to install the bus <br />stop signs and route number and destination holders furnished by MTC, all <br />according to four cost task conditions, specified as follows: <br />3.1 EXISTING POLE WITH BUS STOP SIGN <br />3.1.1 The City shall remove the existing MTC circle - T bus stop signs. <br />The City shall be responsible for disposing of or recycling the <br />aluminum. <br />3.1.2 The City may reuse the existing mounting hardware, such as straps <br />and clamps. <br />3.1.3 The City shall provide and install new nuts, bolts, and washers for <br />the installation of the new MTC bus stop sign, except where existing <br />are stainless steel or brass. <br />3.1.4 The City shall install the MTC furnished nylon washer against the <br />reflective front face of the new bus stop sign. <br />3.1.5 The City shall provide a stainless steel or rust protected washer <br />with the same (or slightly smaller dimensions) as the MTC furnished <br />nylon washer. This metal washer shall be installed by the City <br />between all nylon washers and bolt heads. <br />3.1.6 The City shall install the new bus stop sign. <br />MTC CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT <br />EXHIBIT D <br />Page 137 <br />
