99(//4 c'anae/a
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612)484-2177/FAX: (612) 484 -4538
January 7, 1994
TO: Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council
FROM: Kathy Glanzer, Administrative Assistant
RE: Assessment Reapportionments
MAYOR
Raymond G. Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Attached are two assessment reapportionment resolutions which have
been requested by Ramsey County. The first involves property
division DL063487, the Trans City Investment property just north of
Pioneer Park. This property division involved the dedication of
additional right -of -way for Desoto Street. As a result of the
property division, the property identification number assigned by
Ramsey County changed, therefore, an assessment reapportionment is
necessary transferring the deferred assessment on this parcel from
the inactive property ID number to the new one.
The second resolution is for property division DA064192, which
involves property on Park Street. The property in question was
resubdivided due to the vacation of Lake Street and dedication of
that right -of -way back to the adjacent parcels, as well as
application by Coronet Development to resubdivide one lot into two.
As with all property divisions, the County assigns new property ID
numbers to the newly configured lots, therefore, the assessment
reapportionment is necessary.
Page 52
