MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JUNE 9, 1994 <br />many years ago as part of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Maas reported that he plans to line his house up with <br />the others in the neighborhood. <br />A property owner asked if front yard setback variances <br />were approved for other houses in the neighborhood. <br />Maas reported that he had his property surveyed, and <br />the surveyor determined that the house next door was <br />setback 22 feet from the road right -of -way. <br />Keis asked if Maas intended to line up the front of his <br />garage with the adjacent house. <br />Maas replied that he did. <br />Kathy Barr, Sunrise Drive resident, stated that the <br />only issue is whether or not the Maas house will be <br />lined up with others in the neighborhood. Barr <br />reported that she and her husband are requesting that a <br />plot plan of the houses in the neighborhood be done. <br />This plan can then be reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission and neighbors to determine how the Maas <br />house will line up with the existing homes. <br />McKenna stated that the variance was a non -issue to the <br />neighbors if the Maas house will be lined up with the <br />adjacent homes. <br />Barr again requested the plot plan of the neighborhood. <br />Keis pointed out that the Planning Commission can <br />recommend that the Maas house be required to be lined <br />up with the adjacent houses. <br />DeLonais asked if Maas planned to construct his house <br />closer to the street than the adjacent houses. <br />Maas replied that he did not, but planned to line his <br />house up with the others. Maas stated that he is not <br />asking for anything more than anyone else on the street <br />has. <br />Mr. Davison recommended approval of the front yard <br />setback variance allowing Mr. John Maas to construct a <br />house at 2439 Sunrise Drive with a front yard setback <br />of 22 feet from the property line, which would line the <br />3 <br />
