MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 23, 2013 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />AND ANY SUBSEQUENT REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO STORM <br />WATER CONTROL FOR THIS SITE, AND ESTABLISHING A <br />PAVING DEADLINE OF JUNE 30, 2014 AND CLARIFYING THAT <br />THERE IS TO BE NO OUTDOOR STORAGE ALLOWED ON THIS <br />PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution as duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -10 -194 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; <br />.AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF COMMISSION <br />VACANCIES; <br />*APPROVING THE NON - WAIVER OF LMCIT TORT LIABILITY <br />LIMITS; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NO PARKING- The Public Works Superintendent reported that the City has received a <br />PAYNE AVENUE request to allow parking on one side of Payne Avenue along the first 250 <br />feet just north of LaBore Road. The resident making the request has found <br />it inconvenient to request parking permits for Payne Avenue adjacent to <br />his house when he has parties at his home and needs more parking than his <br />driveway can accommodate. The Superintendent indicated that this area <br />of the street is 24 feet wide in comparison to a 30 foot width along the rest <br />of Payne Avenue. The Superintendent reported that the City designated <br />both sides of this area as no parking back in 2002 given the narrow section <br />of the street and the awkward intersection LaBore Road and Payne <br />Avenue. <br />The Superintendent reported that in looking at the area, he felt that the no <br />parking designation should be retained from 50 to 100 feet back from <br />LaBore Road, and that parking be allowed after that distance on the east <br />side of the street.
