MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 23, 2013 CONSENT AGENDA AND ANY SUBSEQUENT REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO STORM WATER CONTROL FOR THIS SITE, AND ESTABLISHING A PAVING DEADLINE OF JUNE 30, 2014 AND CLARIFYING THAT THERE IS TO BE NO OUTDOOR STORAGE ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY The foregoing resolution as duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -10 -194 — APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; .AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF COMMISSION VACANCIES; *APPROVING THE NON - WAIVER OF LMCIT TORT LIABILITY LIMITS; The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. NO PARKING- The Public Works Superintendent reported that the City has received a PAYNE AVENUE request to allow parking on one side of Payne Avenue along the first 250 feet just north of LaBore Road. The resident making the request has found it inconvenient to request parking permits for Payne Avenue adjacent to his house when he has parties at his home and needs more parking than his driveway can accommodate. The Superintendent indicated that this area of the street is 24 feet wide in comparison to a 30 foot width along the rest of Payne Avenue. The Superintendent reported that the City designated both sides of this area as no parking back in 2002 given the narrow section of the street and the awkward intersection LaBore Road and Payne Avenue. The Superintendent reported that in looking at the area, he felt that the no parking designation should be retained from 50 to 100 feet back from LaBore Road, and that parking be allowed after that distance on the east side of the street.
