Provide liaison and coordination of timeline for City move in and occupancy with the <br />construction activities. <br />`i Manage building start -up, commissioning, testing and training with operations personnel. <br />y Preparation of the final punch -list and punch -list completion. <br />• Coordination of contractor warranty work and management of deficient work completion in <br />advance of occupancy. <br />Y Obtain building equipment operation and maintenance manuals and as -built drawings. <br />• Prepare a warranty and guarantee hook. <br />• Conduct final accounting of each construction contract, recommend retainage release, and <br />obtain final lien waivers. <br />Y Coordinate contractor maintenance and /or warranty work during warranty period. <br />Conduct eleven month warranty inspection and coordinate contractor's corrective work. <br />➢ Always be available to the City representative. <br />OWNER'S VISION FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING: <br />The building must meet the following requirements of the City: <br />I) It must be, architecturally designed to "fit" the surrounding neighborhoods of single <br />family homes across the street (Centerville Road), multi- family residential adjoining the <br />site, and park property just to the north. Special emphasis is to be given to minimizing <br />impacts from outdoor storage, noise, and occasional night time operations associated <br />with a public works operation with the goal of being a "good neighbor" as part of this <br />process. <br />2) It must meet the functional requirements of the Public Works and Parks Department as <br />identified in the Pre- Design portion of this project. <br />3) It must encompass modern technology capabilities for data, communication, and <br />information management. <br />4) It must provide for adequate employee and visitor parking/access and appropriate <br />landscaping and green space pursuant to zoning requirements for publicly zoned <br />property. (A copy of zoning requirements follows as Attachment #x). <br />5) The City will not issue any zoning variances for this project. <br />8 <br />
