Recommendation: <br />* Prepare a RFP for street scape /infrastructure <br />improvements relative to these projects which <br />can serve as a basis for future action. <br />* City staff should finalize negotiations for <br />an option agreement for acquisition of the <br />DeLonais property. Amend Zoning Ordinance to serve as tool for <br />implementation. <br />The City Planner, as part of the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment and preparation of our Architectural Design <br />Guidelines, would seem to be in the best position to <br />work on this item. Given the projected time frame, <br />this item will be dependent upon additional information <br />as it becomes available. <br />Recommendation: Direct City Planner to amend the <br />Zoning Ordinance as needed consistent with Development <br />Guide based on the availability of information to <br />assist in that process. <br />10. Create and implement architectural design guidelines. <br />The City Council authorized the City Planner to <br />initiate this work at our last meeting. <br />Recommendation: Have Planner complete architectural <br />design guidelines with Planning Commission serving as <br />the responsible entity for their development. Planning <br />Commission should also serve as the architectural <br />review board. This work should be done by no later <br />than the end of 1995. <br />PAGE 26 <br />
