The City requires a $500 deposit for Spooner Park facilities and a $1,000 deposit for Pioneer Park facilities to ensure that park facilities are cleaned and left in the same condition as they were prior to the tournament and to cover any damage which may occur. This provision also includes maintaining the park facilities at all times during the tournament. That is, the concession stand and bathroom facilities must be clean and orderly, and there can be no debris laying or blowing around the park and into neighboring properties. Refuse disposal must occur as- needed throughout the tournament. At the minimum, trash containers must be emptied. Costs association with this function are the responsibility of the tournament operator. * Any damage to park facilities during or as a result of a tournament shall be the responsibility of the tournament operators irrespective of the cause. * Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the park except for licensed sales. * Any group desiring to sell alcohol as part of their tournament would be subject to the following: Approved Temporary Liquor License & $40 fee; Certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance with limits of $50,000 per person; $100,000 per occurrence; $10,000 property destruction; $50,000 and $100,000 for loss of means of support; Satisfactory Sheriff's Department background checks; No glass containers allowed in the park; No beer - drinking contests allowed; Personnel to ensure there is no under -age drinking. * Personnel is required to monitor parking and parking lots and do crowd - control. * Parking is allowed in designated parking lots only. An additional permit is required to allow on- street parking on DeSoto Street and Eli Road. No on- street parking on Centerville Road will be allowed. * Vehicular access within the park is limited to the operator of the concession stand and to emergency vehicles. -2- Page 3
