An outside position that impairs his /her attendance or <br />efficiency in the performance as a City employee. <br />Receipt of Outside Financial Benefit <br />No City employee receiving outside financial benefit in the form <br />of compensation, benefits, remunerations, or other financial gain <br />from any private organization or charitable organization or from <br />any private individual in an attempt to circumvent the previously <br />mentioned sources without prior disclosure to and approval from <br />the City Council. This does not apply to the receipt of prizes <br />resulting from the participation in lawful gambling. <br />Failure to comply with such a provision shall subject the <br />employee to disciplinary action. <br />Personal Telephone Calls <br />A. Personal telephone calls shall be made or received only when <br />absolutely necessary when they do not interfere with working <br />operations and should be completed as quickly as possible. <br />B. Any personal long distance call costs shall be paid for by <br />the employee. <br />Reference Checks <br />All requests for reference checks on present or former employees <br />of the City of Little Canada shall be directed to the City <br />Administrator. <br />Personnel Record of Employees <br />A. The City Administrator shall maintain all personnel records. <br />These personnel records shall be the official personnel <br />records of the City and are, therefore, important to all <br />employees and shall be maintained by the City Administrator. <br />It shall be the employee's responsibility to see that the <br />following items are kept current at all times: <br />1. Correct home address and telephone number. <br />2. Person to contact in case of emergency. <br />3. Legal change in name. <br />B.
