MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MARCH 14, 1995 <br />Bienke described the signage proposed, noting the <br />signage that will be incorporated on each of the six <br />buildings fronting County Road D. Two pylon signs are <br />proposed to take advantage of visibility from 35E/694. <br />Once inside the complex, there will be signage for each <br />building which lists tenants and addresses. <br />Requirements of the Code will be met with regard to <br />signage. <br />Bienke reported that they can provide an easement for <br />emergency vehicle access. The City Planner suggested <br />that this issue be left to the Fire Chief. <br />Davison asked if there would be paving all around the <br />buildings. <br />Bienke reported that there will be sod and foundation <br />landscaping around the buildings. The courtyard areas <br />will get the prime landscaping focus. Detailed <br />landscaping plans will be submitted to the City. <br />Mr. Schletty recommended approval of a Planned Unit <br />Development to allow more than one owner- occupied <br />office building on a lot, as well as Final Plat for <br />eight (8) office building sites for Lots 1 and 3, <br />Heritage Office Park subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his <br />report dated March 10, 1995. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />The City Planner asked when the garage issue would be <br />resolved with NSP. <br />Newpower reported that they would be meeting with NSP <br />some time next week, and hoped to have some answers by <br />the March 22nd Council meeting. <br />Keis asked what the Park & Recreation Commission <br />recommended with regard to park charges. <br />Bob Sneen replied that the Commission recommended a <br />cash park charge based on 5% of the value of the land. <br />3 <br />Page 19 <br />
