MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2014 <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Administrator indicated that quotes are being obtained for the <br />hazardous materials survey of 2858 Centerville Road. The Administrator <br />asked that the Public Works /Parks Project Design Review Committee be <br />allowed to reward the lowest responsible quote so that the work can <br />commence as quickly as possible and not be delayed until the next Council <br />meeting. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -2 -30 — AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS /PARKS PROJECT DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE TO <br />AWARD THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE QUOTE FOR HAZARDOUS <br />MATERIALS SURVEY FOR 2858 CENTERVILLE ROAD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener suggested that another Member of the Council replace him on the <br />Public Works /Parks Project Design Review Committee in his absence. <br />Montour indicated that he would do so. <br />HOOKAH The City Administrator reported that the property owner of the Little <br />HIDEOUT Canada Road shopping centers would like to relocate The Hookah Hideout <br />within the centers since he would like the end location for another tenant. <br />The Council had acted in December to allow the relocation provided that <br />the square footage allocated to The Hookah Hideout remained the same. <br />The Administrator noted that the square footage would increase from <br />1,500 square feet to 1,910 square feet. However, most of the increase is <br />attributed to the larger bathroom and the addition of an office area. The <br />seating /lounge area would increase by 9 %. <br />McGraw asked if it was the building owner driving the relocation. David <br />Nelson, The Hookah Hideout, stated that the owner asked him to move so <br />that he could have the end spot for a new tenant. The Hookah Hideout <br />new location would be next to Caravel. <br />Blesener noted that the building owner has a proposal before the Planning <br />Commission tomorrow evening for exterior improvements to the shopping <br />center.
