MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 11, 2007 convey the vacated right-of--way entirely to the properties abutting on the south. There was no one else present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Allan, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2007-4-84 -VACATING THAT PORTION OF LAKE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAYLYING BETWEENLOT ll, BLOCK I, MASONMANOR ON THE NORTHAND LOTS 6, 7, AND 8, BLOCK 2, CHARLES W. BROWNADDITION ON THE SOUTHAS PETITIONED FOR BY THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERSAND ON THE BASIS THAT THIS ROAD RICHT-OF-WAYSERVES NO PUBLIC PURPOSE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TOBACCO & Mr. Brent Jacobson, the new operator of the Sinclair Station at 228 Little OFF-SALE Canada Road, requested approval of a Tobacco License and an Off-Sale 3.2 LIQUOR 3.2 Intoxicating Malt Liquor License. The City Clerk reported that the LICENSES - City has received a satisfactory Sheriffls Department Background Check SINCLAIR on Mr. Jacobson. Liquor Liability Insurance is pending. STATION Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2007-4-85 - APPROVING A TOBACCO LICENSE AND AN OFF-SALE 3.2 INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR BRENT JACOBSONAT THE SINCLAIR STATIONPENDING RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 12, 2007 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2007 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (4) Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. OASIS The City Clerk reported that the Oasis Market failed an alcohol LIQUOR compliance check last fall. The criminal prosecution of the clerk that VIOLATION sold alcohol to a minor has been concluded. The Council is now being asked to consider a civil penalty to the Oasis Market. The Clerk reviewed
