MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 25, 2014 CONSENT AGENDA Blesener stated that his position was to retain the On -Sale Restaurant License. Montour noted that Mr. Gnetz appears to have no background in this type of business. Gnetz indicated that he has worked at The Rock, and indicated that having a business of this type appeals to him. Montour noted that The Myth has had its share of issues, and noted the significant investment that is being proposed. Montour agreed with the Mayor's comments that the City does not have an available On -Sale License and noted that any request for an On -Sale Restaurant License would have to comply with the City Code. He noted that parking will be an issue. Blesener stated that he was not sure this was the right location for Voodoo Live. Keis agreed, noting the amount of residential development around the site. Miranowski indicated that they will go back to the drawing board and see if they can accommodate the 60% food requirement for the On -Sale Restaurant License. Keis asked if the City could put limitations on the business given it is a PUD District. The City Planner indicated that the proposal would require Architectural Review. He also indicated that given parking issues that would need to be addressed, the proposal would also require a PUD Permit. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2014-6-108 — DENYING THE REQUEST TO AMEND THE CITY'S LIQUOR CODE AS REQUESTED BY CHRIS GNETZ FOR HIS VOODOO LIVE PROPOSAL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2014-6-109 —APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; *APPROVAL OF OFF-SITE GAMBLING PERMIT FOR LITTLE CANADA CANADIAN DAYS AS PART OF THE CANADIAN DAYS CELEBRATION 17
