MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 8, 2007 <br />CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTIONNO.2007-8-191-APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE ROSEVILLE <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT'S 2007 PRIMARY AND GENERAL <br />ELECTIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY CLERK; <br />*CALL FORA 2008 BUDGET WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 2007AT 6:00 P.M.; <br />*APPROVING PARTIAL PAY ESTIMATE #2 TO T.A. SCHIFSKY & <br />SONS FOR 2007 STREET IMPROVEMENTS; <br />~;4PPROVING FINAL PAY ESTIMATE NO. 1 TO FRATTALONE <br />COMPANIES FOR VIKING DRIVE DEMOLITION PROJECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SIGN Allan reported that she and the City Administrator met with Mr. Dick <br />AGREEMENT Biagini relative to signage at his Country Drive buildings. Allan <br />2935 reported that Mr. Biagini has done some berming and landscaping <br />COUNTRY around the base of the U.S. Recordings sign greatly improving the <br />DRIVE aesthetics of the sign. However, he has indicated that it is not feasible to <br /> nova brick the sign posts due to the amount of wind deflection the sign <br /> experiences. Allan pointed out that Mr. Biagini is within his rights to <br /> maintain the existing sign as is; the hope, however, was that he would <br /> make additional improvements so that it would match the sign at his <br /> adjacent building. Mr. Biagini reported that U.S. Recordings was recently <br /> purchased and could be changing its name. He will approach the owner <br /> about additional improvements to the sign next spring. <br />CUP FOR The City Administrator reported that Roy French has refined his garage <br />SECOND project, and in order to retain his existing garage door, will be remodeling <br />GARAGE - a 7 '/z by 24 foot area of his existing attached garage into kitchen area. <br />2988 The result is an increase from 1,488 square feet of total garage space to <br />EDGERTON 1,500 square feet. The City Administrator noted that this is the maximum <br />STREET - amount of garage space allowed by Code. The Administrator <br />
