MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 <br />AND COUNCIL MEMBERS TO $5,700 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, <br />2015 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (3) Blesener, McGraw, Montour. <br />Nays (2) Boss and Keis. Resolution declared adopted. <br />DECLARE The City Administrator reported that the improvement of Schletty Drive <br />COSTS & south of Little Canada Road will be substantially complete this fall and <br />CALL staff is recommending that the Council declare costs, order preparation of <br />ASSESSMENT the assessment roll, and call for an assessment hearing on Wednesday, <br />HEARING — October 22, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. The Administrator noted that the total cost <br />SCHLETTY of the improvement is $550,000, with $310,000 to be paid by the City and <br />DRIVE $240,000 to be assessed against benefitting property owners. Assessments <br />would bear an interest rate of 4.5% and would be spread over a ten year <br />term. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-186 — DECLARING COST TO BE <br />ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SCHLETTY DRIVE <br />(SOUTH OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD), IMPROVEMENT NO. 2014- <br />12 AS PROPOSED BY CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-187 — CALLING A HEARING ON THE <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT OF SCHLETTY DRIVE (SOUTH OF <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD), IMPROVEMENT NO. 2014-12, FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2014, AT 6:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
