MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 8, 2014 <br />Blesener asked if it would be more advantageous to purchase two of the <br />dumping bins rather than one dumping bin and one bagging unit. The <br />Administrator indicated that it was his understanding that City staff felt <br />having one of each unit would give them more efficiencies. The <br />Administrator indicated that he would clarify this with staff. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-10-199 — AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE <br />OF THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT FOR A TOTAL COST OF <br />$18,706.00 WITH THE STIPULATION THAT COUNCIL APPRO VES <br />THE PURCHASE OF TWO DUMPING BINS FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br />$480.00 (ELIMINATING THE BAGGING UNIT) IF CITY STAFF <br />FEELS THAT WOULD BE PREFERABLE: <br />BOBCAT Z -TURN MOWER $9,337.60 <br />12 -BUSHEL DUMPING BIN $2,799.20 <br />12 -BUSHEL BAGGING UNIT $2,319.20 <br />LITTLE WONDER DEBRIS PICKER $4,250.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LCRA Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR RESOLUTION NO. 2014-10-200 — APPROVING A TEMPORARY <br />LICENSE- ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA <br />HALLOWEEN RECREATION ASSOCIATION HALLOWEEN DANCE TO BE <br />DANCE HELD ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2014, AT THE OLD FIRE HALL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />KELLER The City Administrator reviewed the City Engineer's report dated <br />PARKWAY October 8, 2014 relative to the installation of a new lift station <br />LIFT structure, salvaging and reinstallation of the old lift station equipment <br />STATION & in the new structure, and replacement of the force main for the Keller <br />DNR LICENSE Parkway Lift Station. Two bids were received for this work, with the <br />AGREEMENT low bid from R. L. Larson Excavating, Inc. in the amount of 5296,150.01. <br />The Administrator indicated that the low bid is over estimate; however, <br />the City's share of the cost is on budget.
