MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 12, 2014 <br />that Ortiz consider modifying his business plan to meet the parameters for <br />the General Tobacco License. The Council consensus was to adopt the <br />ordinance amendment as proposed by the City Attorney and staff. The <br />City Administrator reported that Mayor Blesener had indicated his support <br />for the amendment as proposed. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-11-207 — ADOPTING THE ORDINANCE <br />AMENDMENT AS PROPOSED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />CLARIFYING THE DEFINITION OF GENERAL TOBACCO SALES <br />& DISPLAY LICENSE AND SETTING THE MAXIMUM CUBIC <br />FEET OF DISPLAY AREA UNDER THAT LICENSE TO 50 CUBIC <br />FEET, AS WELL AS INCLUDING THE LANGUAGE RELATIVE TO <br />COUNCIL FLEXIBILITY IN ACTING ON TOBACCO LICENSE <br />APPLICATIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANVASS The City Clerk presented the Council with the November 4, 2014 <br />CITY Municipal Election results. She also thanked the City's Election Judges <br />ELECTION for their dedicated service to the City in conducting the election.
