MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 2014 <br />CELL TOWER <br />LEASE <br />AMENDMENT - <br />NEW CINGULAR <br />WIRELESS <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Clerk indicated that given Jeff Heikke's appointment to the <br />Planning Commission, there will be a vacancy on the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission commencing January of 2015. That term is for two years. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-12-295 — AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO <br />ADVERTISE A VACANCY ON THE PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR A TWO YEAR TERMS CONSISTING OF 2015 <br />AND 2016 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Keis indicated that he would prefer to wait until the Heikke vacancy is <br />filled on the Parks & Recreation Commission to make a recommendation <br />for the 2015 Chair of the Commission. Keis indicated that Vice Chair <br />Kong Vang should serve as temporary Chair until the appointment is <br />made. <br />The City Administrator reported that New Cingular Wireless (AT&T) <br />has made some modifications to their system on the City's Water Tower, <br />thus triggering an amendment to the existing lease. The amendment <br />provides for a $600 increase in the monthly rent. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-12-246 — APPROVING THE THIRD <br />AMENDMENT TO THE NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS <br />TOWER/LAND LEASE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />ACTING MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
