MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 28, 2015 <br />Trista Kimmes, General Manager of the Saxon Lanes, appeared before the <br />Council presenting this proposal. She noted that the red, grey, and white <br />color scheme would extend around the entire building. McGraw asked <br />about the stars shown on the diagrams. Kimmes indicated that they have <br />not made a decision on whether or not the stars would be included. <br />Montour asked about the "bowling ball" style signage at the front <br />entrance. Kimmes indicated that they have decided to just have a <br />directional sign over the front door entrance. Montour asked about the <br />picture that shows an awning over the door. Kimmes stated that this was <br />just an example picture. Montour asked about removal of the Mingles <br />sign which Kimmes indicated would be removed. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Fischer, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-1-16 — APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PERMIT TO ALLOW SIGNAGE ONA <br />SINGLE TENANT COMMERCIAL BUILDING, VARYING FROM <br />SIZE, NUMBER AND CONSTRUCTION/DESIGN REQUIREMENTS <br />OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE ALONG WITH AN <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR EXTERIOR PAINT AND <br />MATERIALS SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN <br />HIS DECEMBER 30, 2014 REPORT AND SUBJECT TO REMOVAL <br />OF THE MINGLES SIGN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />OFF -SALE The City Clerk reported that Mike Heller, owner of MGM Liquors, is <br />LIQUOR selling his liquor store to Stanley Jackson. Mr. Jackson has made <br />LICENSE & application for an Off -Sale Liquor License as well as a General Tobacco <br />TOBACCO License. The Clerk reported that application materials are in order; <br />LICENSE- however, a Certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance is pending. The City <br />A-1 LIQUOR has received a satisfactory Sheriff's Department Background Check on <br />Mr. Jackson. The Clerk reported that staff recommends approval of the <br />two licenses pending receipt of a satisfactory Certificate of Liquor <br />Liability Insurance and pending the closing of the sale of the MGM Liquor <br />3 <br />
