MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 11, 2015 <br />WITH CITY on items related to prosecution as well as any other legal matters that <br />ATTORNEY might warrant some discussion. The City Administrator suggested that the <br />Council call of a workshop so that the City Attorney can provide a <br />prosecution update as well as an update on the administrative fine process, <br />the open meeting law, conflict of interest, and other possible topics. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-2-33 — CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY25, 2015, AT 6:00 P.M. WITH THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO DISCUSSION PROSECUTION AND OTHER <br />LEGAL ISSUES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR The City Administrator reported that the Council recently ordered an <br />CLOSED appraisal of 56 Little Canada Road East to use in determining whether <br />SESSION TO or not the City wanted to make an offer to purchase this property. The <br />REVIEW Administrator noted that the realtor for the property had approached the <br />APPRAISAL City asking if it would be interested in this purchase. The City Council <br />OF 56 EAST was concerned that the asking price for the property was close to the <br />LITTLE County's estimated market value, which given the condition of the <br />CANADA property seemed to be too high. Therefore, an appraisal was ordered. <br />ROAD The Administrator noted the City Attorney has forwarded the appraisal to <br />the Council, and the Administrator suggested that, if the Council feels <br />necessary, a closed session can be called to review the appraisal and <br />determine whether or not an offer to purchase should be presented to the <br />property owner. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-2-34 — CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION <br />AT THE END OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO <br />DISCUSS A POTENTIAL OFFER FOR THE PURCHASE OF 56 <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD EAST <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
