MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 25, 2015 <br />ORDER VALUE <br />ESTIMATE - <br />3100 <br />COUNTRY <br />DRIVE <br />56 LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />ROAD EAST <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*ESTABLISHING A FIRE ESCROW ACCOUNT AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY; <br />*AWARING THE LOW QUOTE FOR LOW VOLTAGE WORK AT <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT; <br />*APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST TO FPI PAVING FOR THE <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that he has a quote of $1,250 from <br />Nicollet Partners to do a value estimate on the current Public Works <br />garage located at 3100 Country Drive. The Administrator noted that <br />this will not be a full blown appraisal, but a value estimate to give the <br />City an idea of what the building is worth. He also indicated that Nicollet <br />Partners has done the bulk of the City's commercial appraisal work, and <br />felt that given this relationship, the quote should be awarded to a firm the <br />City has a good working relationship and history with, rather than obtain <br />additional quotes. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-2-40 —AWARDING THE QUOTE OF $1,250 <br />FROM NICOLLET PARTNERS FOR VALUE ESTIMATE FOR THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE LOCATED AT 3100 COUNTRY DRIVE <br />AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that he made the offer to the realtor for <br />purchase of 56 Little Canada Road East as authorized by the Council at its <br />last meeting, and the property owner is considering this offer. They have <br />requested a copy of the City's appraisal for the property. The <br />Administrator indicated that the City is not obligated to provide the <br />11 <br />
