MINUTES CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 25, 2015 ORDER VALUE ESTIMATE - 3100 COUNTRY DRIVE 56 LITTLE CANADA ROAD EAST *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; *ESTABLISHING A FIRE ESCROW ACCOUNT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY; *AWARING THE LOW QUOTE FOR LOW VOLTAGE WORK AT THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT; *APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST TO FPI PAVING FOR THE LITTLE CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported that he has a quote of $1,250 from Nicollet Partners to do a value estimate on the current Public Works garage located at 3100 Country Drive. The Administrator noted that this will not be a full blown appraisal, but a value estimate to give the City an idea of what the building is worth. He also indicated that Nicollet Partners has done the bulk of the City's commercial appraisal work, and felt that given this relationship, the quote should be awarded to a firm the City has a good working relationship and history with, rather than obtain additional quotes. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-2-40 —AWARDING THE QUOTE OF $1,250 FROM NICOLLET PARTNERS FOR VALUE ESTIMATE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE LOCATED AT 3100 COUNTRY DRIVE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported that he made the offer to the realtor for purchase of 56 Little Canada Road East as authorized by the Council at its last meeting, and the property owner is considering this offer.
