INFORMATION OR BIDDERS <br />1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />Information for Bidders <br />This project generally consists of supplying certain specified materials, equipment, and labor to <br />equip, connect, and sot -up the City Hatt Audio/Video Project and other related activities within City <br />I-lall of the City of Little Canada. <br />2. BIDDING DOCUMENTS <br />A. 13idding Documents consist of those documents as listed in Section 1 of the General Conditions of <br />the Contract. <br />B. Complete sets of the Bidding Documents in the number and for the deposit sum, if any, stated in <br />the Advertisement for Bids may be obtained from Issuing Office. <br />C. Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; Owner does not assume any <br />responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding <br />Documents. <br />3. EXAMINATION OF SITE AND BIDDING DOCUMENTS <br />A. Bidders are expected to make a thorough examination of the sites of the work prior to submitting <br />a proposal. If is the Bidder's responsibility to become familiar with obstacles that may be <br />encountered and other local conditions that may affect cost, progress, and performance of the Work. <br />B. Bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the Bidding Documents and by such <br />other means as they prefer as to the accuracy of the quantities of work to be performed, the intent of <br />the Bidding Documents, and the requirements of the Owner. The successful Bidder must employ, as <br />far as possible, the methods and means of carrying out the work in a manner as will not cause any <br />interference or interruption with the work of others or the operations of the Owner. <br />C. Bidders must become familiar with and satisfy Bidder as to all federal, state, and local Laws and <br />Regulations that may affect cost, progress, or performance of the Work. <br />D. Bidders must agree at the time of submitting its Bid that no further examinations, investigations, <br />explorations, tests, studies, or data are necessary for the determination of its Bid for performance of <br />the work at the price bid and within the times and in accordance with the other terms and conditions <br />of the Bidding Documents, <br />E. Submission of a Proposal shall be considered prima facia evidence that the Bidder is thoroughly <br />familiar with the conditions to be encountered, the character, quality and quantity of the work to be <br />performed, materials to be furnished, and the requirements of the Bidding Documents. After the <br />opening of the Proposal by the Owner, no claim for additional compensation due to the Bidder's <br />misunderstanding of the intent of the Owner or the Bidcling Documents nor failure to acquire <br />information necessary for the intelligent preparation of the Proposal will be entertained. <br />City of Little Canada, City Hall Audio/Video Project <br />
