The Planner indicated that it is his rmderstanding the owners of the Marketplace Shopping Center are putting together a plan for a new pylon. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Allan, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-I-17 -APPROVING TIIE AMENDMENT TO COMPREHENSIVE SIGNPLAN FOR THE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER AT 2900 RICE STREET AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND ALLOWING FUTURE COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN AMENDMENTS FOR WALL SIGNAGE CHANGES/ADDITIONS AT THE SHOPPING CENTER TO BE PROCESSED BY ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT PROVIDED THAT THE SIGNAGE IS WITHIN THE SIGN BAND AREA AND MEETS CODE REQUIREMENTS, AND SUGGESTING THAT THE PROPERTY OWNER TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK AT REPLACING THE EXISTING PYLONSIGNAT THE SHOPPING CENTER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PROPERTY The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the division of 57 East DIVISION - Bryan Street into two single-family lots. The City Plamrer and the 57 EAST Planning Commission recommended approval subject to conditions as BRYAN STREET - outlined in the City Planner's reporC. JIM BOSS Jim Boss reported that he would lilee to subdivide the property so that he caiz build a house on the new lot. The lot would be accessed via Boss Road. It was noted that the Council held an improvement hearing on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at which the improvement of Boss Road was ordered. Blescuer noted that Boss Road will be improved from Bryan Sheet and will end in a cul-de-sac at the property line for the new lot. Blesener asked if Boss agreed with the recommendations of the City Planner and Plam~ing Commission relative to the lot split. Jim Boss replied that he was in agreement.
