MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 25, 2015 <br />CABLE SYSTEM The City Administrator reported that the due date for submission of bids <br />UPGRADES for the cable system upgrades has been extended by one week at the <br />request of the potential bidders. <br />CITY CENTER The City Administrator reviewed his March 20, 2015 report relative to <br />REMODEL the City Center project. He noted that relative to the project budget, even <br />PROJECT — with some changes, the project is within budget with a positive variance <br />CHANGE of $90,000. This includes three change orders that the Administrator <br />ORDER & requested the Council act on. The first change order is for the addition of <br />BUDGET two cabinets in the kitchen that were not initially included. The architect <br />UPDATE omitted these cabinets due to concerns with the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act requirements. The City's Building Official has <br />determined that the cabinets could be added and still be within compliance <br />with the Code. The cost of the cabinets is an additional $1,099. The <br />second change order is for the addition of an electronic door opener at the <br />main entry door. Cost to add is $3,570. The last change order was for <br />sheetrock corrections in the office hallway to support the wall covering <br />planned for this area. Cost for this work was $1,317. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-3-63 — APPROVING THE CHANGE <br />ORDERS FOR KITCHEN CABINETS, ELECTRONIC DOOR <br />OPENER, AND SHEETROCK CORRECTIONS AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN HIS REPORT DATED MARCH <br />20, 2015 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />200-208 The City Administrator reviewed his report dated March 25, 2015 <br />RYAN outlining the details of the City granting Russ Fischer an extension <br />DRIVE — until April 1, 2015 to apply for a building permit for his property in <br />RUSS order to continue the non -conforming use. The Administrator reported <br />FISCHER that Mr. Fischer is requesting until April 15, 2015 to pull the permit, <br />indicating that he is very close to finalizing his building plans. The <br />Administrator noted that City staff somewhat delayed the process given <br />discussions about other potential sites and the possible use of the current <br />site for water quality improvements by the Watershed. <br />14 <br />
