ES 201 Little Canada Road. The Planner noted that Gordies has an existing
CUP to allow commercial recreation activities along with alcohol service.
The previous permit required a line of spruce trees along the westerly
boundary, and limited outdoor activities to volleyball and boot hockey on
certain nights. The applicants wish to broaden their opportunities and seek
the ability to allow outdoor alcohol consumption in connection with the
events. They have proposed to replant one of the trees in the screening
area that did not survive. To accomplish what they are seeking, the
Planner indicated that the applicants are required to enclose the area from
the indoor bar service area and the entire facility where alcohol can be
consumed. The purpose of this state liquor regulation is to ensure that
customers cannot enter the facility in any way except through the bar area
