MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 19, 2007 <br />The City Clerk noted staff's recommendation that an annual $300 tattoo <br />parlor business license fee be established. She pointed out that this is the <br />same license fee required for massage parlor business licenses and second <br />hand goods dealers licenses. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2007-12-323 - APPROVING A PUD PERMIT <br />FOR THE PRESS GYMAT 2900 RICE STREET FOR A TATTOO <br />PARLOR TO BE OPERATED BY BRANDON HEFFRON, BELOVED <br />INK, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, SUBJECT TO HOURS OF OPERATION <br />FROM 12 NOON TO 8:00 P.M. WITH BELOVED INK BEING <br />ALLOWED TO COMPLETE TATTOO WORKAFTER HOURS, IF <br />NECESSARY, WHILE THE DOOR IS LOCKED TO THE GENERAL <br />PUBLIC, AND SUBJECT TO COMPLETION OFA SATISFACTORY <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT BACKGROUND CHECK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (2) Allan and McGraw. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-12-324 -AMENDMENT THE CITY'S <br />ORDINANCE MODIFYING ITS FEE SCHEDULE TO INCLUDEAN <br />ANNUAL TATTOO PARLOR BUSINESS LICENSE FEE OF $300 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PAWN Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider renewal of the <br />BROKER'S Pawn Brokers License held by Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry as well as Second <br />AND Hand Goods Dealers Licenses held by Christian Life Ministries, Lincoln <br />SECOND Pawn & Jewelry, Joe's Sporting Goods, and Second Impressions. <br />HAND GOODS <br />DEALERS Blesener reviewed the letter from the Ramsey County Sheriffls <br />LICENSES Department indicating that there are no problems or concerns with Lincoln <br /> Pawn & Jewelry. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />these license renewals: <br />
