MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 28, 2007 <br />Blesener asked if all shipments are received by UPS. Buck reported that <br />at this time they were. <br />McGraw asked if Buck carried a full inventory on a consistent basis. <br />Buck reported that he does not carz•y inventory for a full gun, but did carry <br />various gun components. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Buck noted that a condition in the Planner's report was that the Fire <br />Marshal had to inspect the property. The City Administrator suggested <br />that Buck contact the City Center and make an appointment with the Fire <br />Marshal. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-II-302 -APPROVING THE SPECIAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR HOME OCCUPATION CONSISTING OF FIREARMS <br />ENGRAVINGASREQUESTED BYRYANBUCK, 3040 LABORS <br />ROAD, SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER, THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND THE <br />CONDITION THAT THE B UYING AND SELLING OF GUNS BE <br />ACCESSORY TO THE ENGRAVING USE AND THERE WOULD BE <br />NO RETAIL SALES OF GUNS ALLOWED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />DEVELOPMENT Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for a <br />STAGE PUD Development Stage Planned Unit Development Permit to allow the <br />PERMIT - remodeling and occupancy of a portion of the former Knox building at <br />3203 COUNTRY 3203 County Drive by Jess Graba, Midwest Gymnastics. It was noted <br />DRIVE - that the City Planner and the Planning Commission recommended <br />MIDWEST approval with conditions. <br />GYMNASTICS <br />The City Planner indicated that Jess Graba of Midwest Gymnastics is <br />proposing to purchase the former Knox building and would locate his <br />gymnastics center in approximately half of the building. The remainder of <br />the building would be either leased or sold to other businesses which are <br />yet to be determined. Mr. Graba is proposing to remodel the building and <br />
