MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 13, 2007 JUNE 27 The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for a WORKSHOP workshop meeting on June 27, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. to review the MEETING proposed Financial Policies Guide, Utility Billing Conversion update, and RFP for hotel/motel project. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2007-6-138 -CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27, 2007, AT 6:00 P.M. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. COUNCIL The Cable TV Producer appeared before the Council and reviewed CHAMBERS her report dated May 23, 2007 relative to the purchase of new MICROPHONE microphones for the Council Chambers for both the Council table PURCHASE and the dais. The Producer reviewed the quotes received and recommended award of the low bid from Alpha Video for lavaliere microphones for the Council table and podium microphone for the dais for the total cost of $2,237.57. Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-6-139 -AWARDING THE QUOTE FROM ALPHA VIDEO FOR COUNCIL CHAMBER MICROPHONE UPGRADES IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,237.57 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CABLE TV PROD UCER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FILL PERMIT - The Public Works Superintendent reviewed his report dated June 8, 2007 CENTERVILLE relative to a fill permit application received from Joe Peters for property ROAD AND located at the northeast corner of Centerville Road and Allen Avenue. ALLEN AVE. - Mr. Peters is proposing to purchase this property and develop it some time JOE PETERS in the future. He currently has the opportunity to obtain fill from the Highway 36 project, and would like to bring in approximately 1,500 yards of fill to bring the site up to the proper grade for future development. After filling occurs, Mr. Peters would spread black dirt over the site and re-establish growth to prevent erosion.
