MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 24, 2007 PRELIMINARY Mayor Blesener noted that the Planning Commission has tabled action PLAT - on the Whispering Pines Preliminary Plat until their November meeting WHISPERING pending the receipt of additional information. PINES Montour asked if the developer has made any progress putting together the information. Steve Benning, Rim Lake Construction, indicated that they are in the process of making changes to the Preliminary Plat. He noted that the biggest issue that arose relates to the Hanson property, and Mr. and Mrs. Hanson's decision not to be involved in this plat. Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-IO-279 -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING AND TABLING CONSIDERATION OF THE WHISPERING PINES PRELIMINARY PLAT UNTIL THE NOVEMBER 28, 2007 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ZONING The City Planner recommended that consideration of the Amendment CODE to the Zoning Code relative to sign regulations be tabled at this time. AMENDMENT- The Planner noted that he has obtained input from the League of SIGN Minnesota Cities on the proposed amendments and he would like time ORDINANCE to review this input. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-70-280 -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING AND TABLING CONSIDERATION OFAMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING CODE RELATIVE TO SIGN REGULATIONS UNTIL THE NOVEMBER 28, 2007 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: AGENDA RESOLUTION NO. 2007-IO-28I -APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: 28
