MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 24, 2007 <br />PRELIMINARY Mayor Blesener noted that the Planning Commission has tabled action <br />PLAT - on the Whispering Pines Preliminary Plat until their November meeting <br />WHISPERING pending the receipt of additional information. <br />PINES <br />Montour asked if the developer has made any progress putting together the <br />information. Steve Benning, Rim Lake Construction, indicated that they <br />are in the process of making changes to the Preliminary Plat. He noted <br />that the biggest issue that arose relates to the Hanson property, and Mr. <br />and Mrs. Hanson's decision not to be involved in this plat. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-IO-279 -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING AND TABLING CONSIDERATION OF THE <br />WHISPERING PINES PRELIMINARY PLAT UNTIL THE <br />NOVEMBER 28, 2007 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ZONING The City Planner recommended that consideration of the Amendment <br />CODE to the Zoning Code relative to sign regulations be tabled at this time. <br />AMENDMENT- The Planner noted that he has obtained input from the League of <br />SIGN Minnesota Cities on the proposed amendments and he would like time <br />ORDINANCE to review this input. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-70-280 -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING AND TABLING CONSIDERATION OFAMENDMENTS <br />TO THE ZONING CODE RELATIVE TO SIGN REGULATIONS <br />UNTIL THE NOVEMBER 28, 2007 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
