Fifteen of the evergreen trees will be planted by the hockey rink on
Demont Avenue and ten will be transplanted in Pioneer Park. The Director commented that the
survival rate is good in transplanting evergreens at this time of the year. Replacement plants
have already been purchased and are now at the Public Works garage waiting to be planted.
They have not been planted yet because the ground has been too wet to remove the existing
evergreens.
Basketball registration -
The Director stated that the city is still taking some late registrations.
