Access routes to and around the infiltration ponds should be noted and provided within drainage and utility easements for future maintenance of the ponds. Erosion Control Plan 1. The silt fence should be connected in the southwest corner to form one continuous line of silt fence. 2. The seed mixture to be used for restoration shall be a residential turf mixture except for the infiltration pond bottoms. The watershed should be consulted as to the seed mixture and plantings within the pond area to make the ponds an amenity to the development. 3. Erosion control blanket shall be placed on all slopes 3:1 or greater, no hydroseeding will be allowed on slopes 3:1 or greater. 4. The riprap to be specified shall be a Mn/DOT class. Please specify a class that will be used. 5. Inlet protection to be used once curb and gutter has been installed shall be changed from a Dandy bag to a Wimco. Utilities 1. Please add a hydrant between Lots 4 and 5. 2. A note should be added to the watermain plan requiring that all watermain be encased in poly. 3. A note should be added to the watermain and sanitary plans noting that all bends shall be ductile iron. 4. A tracer wire shall be provided for the plastic forcemain and on every service from the mainline to the property line. All tracer wire shall be 12 gauge copper clad steel wire with a stainless steel core, copper cladding, and be insulated with high density polyethylene (HDPE coating). The tracer wire shall have a minimum tensile strength of 1150 pounds. In-line splices shall be compression splices using 3M cast kit or approved equal. 5. The forcemain should terminate on the development (southeast) side of Labore Road into a new manhole and a gravity line run to the existing MCES line. It should be noted that MCES will need to approve the connection to their sanitary manhole/line. 6. A paved access drive to the lift station will need to be provided for vehicle access to the lift station for maintenance and operation. The access should be constructed to ensure that equipment can directly access the lift station hatches for pump removal and lift station cleaning. 7. All sump structures should be located adjacent to the street to allow for cleaning by the City Vactor truck.
