MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 14, 2008 <br />The Administrator noted that an appraisal will determine the level of <br />commercial assessment that can be supported. He also noted that soil <br />borings will determine the needed street section. The Administrator <br />pointed out the options of rural or urban section street, and indicated that if <br />the Council is in agreement with urban section, soil borings should be <br />ordered at a minimum. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that a 24-foot urban section street <br />improvement should be ordered. The only issue to be determined is the <br />level of commercial assessment that is supportable. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-5-120 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. <br />2008-02, CONDIT STREET, BY RECONSTRUCTION OFA 24-FOOT <br />URBAN SECTION ROAD FROM NADEAU ROAD TO SOUTH <br />OWASSO BLVD. AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO <br />PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITYADMINISTRATOR TO OBTAINANAPPRAISAL TO <br />DETERMINE SUPPORTABLE ASSESSMENT LEVEL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-5-121- REMOVING ITEM #6, WATER <br />TOWER DOOR REPLACEMENT, FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
