Promotion of a desirable and creative environment that might be prevented through <br />the strict application of City zoning and subdivision regulations. <br />Watermark will create a natural greenway corridor and regional stormwater conveyance system <br />through the construction 40+ acres of lakes and storm ponds and 20+ acres of restored and <br />created wetlands; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />establishes that Watermark shall be developed in accordance with the following: <br />ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STANDARDS <br />1. The following are acceptable exterior materials and styles for both the single family <br />homes and the townhomes: <br />a. Exterior Materials <br />i. Vinyl, aluminum or steel siding (acceptable only on single family homes, <br />not townhomes) <br />ii. Brick <br />iii. Stone <br />iv. Stucco <br />v. Wood <br />vi. Engineered siding products such as LP board, Hardie board or similar <br />b. Styles <br />i. Lap siding <br />ii. Board and batten <br />iii. Shakes <br />2. One of the following three architectural features shall be incorporated into the single <br />family home side and rear elevations that are visible from 20th Avenue (CSAH 54), Street <br />A, Street E and the public park: <br />a. A minimum of 4 inch window trim on side and/or rear elevations to match the <br />dimensions of the front elevation. <br />b. Incorporate trim and banding in complementary colors to add interest and variety <br />to the side and/or rear elevations. <br />c. Incorporate more than one exterior material and/or style on the side and/or rear <br />elevations. <br />3.
