2 <br /> <br />- A replacement of the 1957 portion of the building <br />- Additional classrooms to serve a growing student population <br />- A design aesthetic and physical space to reflect the STEM focus of the school’s curriculum <br />and provide learning spaces appropriate for STEM focused education <br />- A complete storm water collection system including underground piping from building and <br />parking areas towards a new infiltration basin <br /> <br />The Planning & Zoning Staff Report dated October 12, 2016 details compliance of the project <br />with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and zoning ordinances. The Planning & Zoning Board <br />held a public hearing on October 12, 2016. There were no public comments and the Board <br />recommended approval with a 5-0 vote. <br /> <br />A Site Improvement Performance Agreement and Stormwater Maintenance Agreement are <br />required. <br /> <br />One major concern staff had was traffic circulation from the parking lot onto Main Street. The <br />parking lot has been re-designed to safely circulate traffic within the parking lot and not onto <br />Main Street. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff and the Board recommend approval of Resolution No. 16-136. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
