He recommended that the City
Council adopt this resolution.
Council Member Elliott moved to adopt Resolution No. 95 - 05
setting the Blanket Public Employees Dishonesty Bond at
$500,000.00. This year the VFW donated $3,300.00 to the same fund
for the purpose of providing playgrounds and playground equipment
for the residents of Lino Lakes.
Mr. Asleson noted that although developers are required dedicate
funds to the Dedicated Park Fund, the fund is never enough to
cover the needs of the City. The VFW contributions are greatly
appreciated.
Mayor Reinert asked how much money has been donated by the VFW
over the years. Mr. Asleson said he would ask the Finance
Department to research this matter.
