WAConsulting Group, Inc. <br />Transportation • Civil • Structural • Environmental • Planning • Traffic • Landscape Architecture ■ Parking <br />July 12, 1996 <br />Mr. David Ahrens, P.E. <br />Director of Public Works/City Engineer <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />1189 Main Street <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014 <br />RE: SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR A COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN <br />Dear Dave: <br />Based on your request, we are pleased to submit this Scope of Services and estimate <br />of cost for professional transportation planning and engineering services to prepare a <br />Comprehensive Transportation Plan for the City of Lino Lakes. <br />We will work closely with NAC, Inc. and City staff to identify the specific data neaded. <br />At a minimum, the following Information is expected to be provided by the City or NAC, <br />Inc.: <br />• Population and Household Trends <br />• Age Characteristics and Trends <br />• Income Trends <br />• Employment and Occupation Data <br />• Traffic counts, if needed <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />In order to provide a comprehensive and effective analysis for this project, we will <br />conduct the following work tasks: <br />1. Describe existing and proposed roadways that have an impact on metropolitan <br />highways, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and transit <br />2. Define (or utilize information provided by NAC, Inc.) the density and distribution of <br />future land uses, and determine their relationship to both the proposed local <br />transportation system and the anticipated metropolitan transportation system. <br />3.
