In the process of assisting a new lawful <br /> 71 gambling organization, staff discovered that the gambling tax is incorrectly stated as 3%and is <br /> 72 recommending that the council approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 07-11. <br /> 73 <br /> 74 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 07-11 as presented. <br /> 75 Council Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 76 <br /> 77 3B) Lease Agreement Extension with Centennial School District No. 12—City Administrator <br /> 78 Karlson reviewed the request for authorization to execute a one-year lease agreement for the early <br /> 79 childhood learning center space at city hall. The school district is in the process of assessing its space <br /> 80 needs, may consider a move from the building and is therefore only interested in a one-year <br /> 81 commitment. Staff will be reviewing the space in the meantime. The council requested that the <br /> 82 matter be added to the Weekly Progress Report so that the council can monitor the situation. <br /> 83 <br /> 84 Council Member Rafferty moved to authorize execution of the lease agreement as presented. Council <br /> 85 Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 86 <br /> 87 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, KENT STREGE <br /> 88 <br /> 89 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br /> 90 <br /> 2 <br />
