Planning and Zoning Board <br />November 21, 1979 <br />Page -3- <br />this probably could be taken care of when the Comprehensive Rezoning District map is <br />prepared. <br />Mr. McLean noted that for Mr. Klenckthe Special Use Permit was specified "non -transferable" <br />and the equipment was limited. Mr. Shearen questioned the location of the proerty and <br />Mrs. Ramsden and the Board explained. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to recommend to Council approval of the Special Use Permit to Dale <br />Ramsden for the use specified on the application. Mr. Heath seconded the motion. Mo- <br />tion declared passed. Mr. Gourley said this will be on the November 26, 1979 Council <br />agenda about 8:30 p.m. <br />Special Use Permit - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Christianson <br />Mrs. Christianson presented a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Husnik indicating they <br />did not object to this request for a Special Use Permit to operate a kennel to bred collie <br />show dogs <br />Mr. McLean asked how many dogs will be held at this kennel? Mrs. Christianson said it <br />varies but usually four and five adults and then occassionally puppies. <br />Mr. Reinert asked about "debark" as listed on the Special Use Permit request. Mrs. <br />Christianson explained the procedure the reason being it reduces annoyance to the neigh- <br />bors. Mr. Shearen asked if there were plans for the kennels, Mrs. Christianson explained. <br />Mr. Gourley explained that when licenses were issued to the other two kennels in the City <br />the City put a limitation on the number of dogs that could be kept in the kennel. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to recommend the issuing of a non -transferable Special Use Permit to <br />Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Christianson to include the maximum of eight adult dogs. Mr. Heath <br />seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. Mr. Gourley stated this will be on the <br />Council agenda November 26, 1979. <br />Plat - Forrest Glen <br />Mr. Menkveld was not present and the plat was not considered. <br />Special Use Permit - Timothy Rehbine <br />Mr. Rehbine would like to use one side of a duplex for the purpose of operating his con- <br />struction business and for a model home. The location would be a duplex he plans to build <br />on 77th Street in the Plat Carole's Estates. <br />Mr. Gourley read the minutes from the October 17, 1979 regular meeting regarding this <br />request. <br />Mr. Rehbine noted the October 17th minutes said two lots were rezoned R2, actually five <br />lots were rezoned R2. <br />Mr. Gourley asked Mr. Rehbine if he talked to Mr. Mobley about the size of the driveway. <br />Mr. Rehbine said Mr. Mobley said if there were no more than 10 employees a regular drive- <br />way was all that was required. Mr. Gourley felt this could be a problem and suggested <br />Mr. Rehbine talk to Mr. Mobley about fencing as well. Mr. Gourley asked if parking <br />could be restricted to "off street" parking. <br />Mr. Shearen moved to recommend to Council that a Special Use Permit be granted to Tim <br />
