Page -3- January 18, 1978 <br />Mar - Don Homes will be placed on the February agenda. <br />Outlot B - Country Lakes, Ken Erickson <br />Mr. Erickson explained he would like to sell some of this outlot and asked the best <br />way to divide it. <br />Mr. McLean explained that the City is requiring lots to be at least one acre in size. <br />However, he realized that since the Tots are shallow, they would required a large front- <br />age. <br />Mr. Gourley stated he was very reluctant to accept lots less than one acre unless some <br />valid argument could be presented. Mr. Shearen explained how Metro Council is watching <br />to see that we do not allow anything other than we had stated. <br />The Board suggested that Mr. Erickson contact an engineering firm or consult with Mr. <br />Gotwald, City Engineer, as to the best way to subdivide this outlot. <br />Outlot A - Lakes Addition 4 - Robert Peterson <br />The Clerk read the tetters from the City Engineer and Planner. The Board discussed the <br />plat map and asked for the following information: <br />- Letter from the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />- All lots be at least one acre. <br />Mr. Peterson stated that Drovers State Bank is considering developing the lots accross <br />the road from Outlot A. He asked how this could be handled. The Clerk was instructed <br />to contact Attorney Locher for his written opinion on how this could be handled. <br />The Clerk was instructed to send Mr. Peterson a copy of the minutes and put him on the <br />February agenda. <br />Rezoning - Feed -Rite Control <br />The Board reviewed the application for rezoning. The application has been completed de- <br />signating a zoning of heavy industrial. A site plat map has also been provided. <br />Mr. McLean noted that parking facilities had not been designated on the plat map and <br />that the ordinance requires commercial buildings to be placed at least 50' from the <br />road. <br />The Board asked Mr. Shipp to provide the following: <br />- A plot map indicating parking facilities, possible future fencing and/or tree screening. <br />- A letter from the Lexington Fire Department stating they could handle any fires <br />this facility. <br />at <br />- A letter from the Pollution Control Agency or Mr. Gotwald indicating what meausres <br />should be taken to control a chemical spill. The letter should also state the <br />consequences of a spill, where will it go, would the City want it to go in this <br />direction. <br />- The street built to City specification and dedicated as a City street. <br />
