Mr. Gotwald
said this is reflected in the increased size of tanks and length of drain -
fields to handle the increase In water volume.
Mr. Mobley, Building Inspector, said the installation has increased in total
volume by about one-third.
Mr. Nadeau asked if there was any way of removing the cul-de-sac without
losing a lot and Mr. Blackbird said they would loose more than one tot by
removing the cul-de-sac.
Mr. Shearen moved to recommend to the Council approval of the Pine Haven Plat.
Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Landers, of Sunrise Avenue, presented an application for a special use
permit for the parking of cars on his property and the repair of small eng-
ine parts in his garage.
Mr. McLean asked if this request was for parking the cars of the income prop-
erty and Mr. Mobley said it was for obth. Getting the family cars off the
right-of-way is the primary use but to also allow the repair of engine parts
in the garage.
Mr. Kelling felt the recommendation would have to make note of the noise
and /or limit the hours. One of the problems would be solved by allowing
the parking of the cars in the yard.
Mr. Nadeau asked how far from the right-of-way the garage was constructed
and Mr. Mobley said, 71 feet.
Mr. McLean asked if the problems on the structure had been corrected? Mr.
Mobley said he had re-evaluated the building and the: permit has been upgraded
to reflect the cost of the construction. The old permit has been cancelled
and a new one issued. He has made a recommendation for reinforcing the build-
ing and this work has begun. rnce the inside is completed the outside will
be taken care of.
Mr. McLean asked when will it be completed and Mr. Mobley said this cost
is being paid for as the construction is done - felt that the structural
work should be done before winter. He thought that maybe some of the out-
side work could be done this year but the bulk would not be done until some
time next year.
Mr. Shearen asked how many property owners were involved? Since Mr. Landers
only had two signatures, Mr. Shearen felt there should be at least 2/3rds
of the abutting property owners.
Mr. Hill arrived at 9:00 P.M.
Mr. Karth asked if the cars parked at that location are all personal cars
and Or. Landers said, Yes, there are no junk cars. Mr Mobley said the
yard is immucalute.
Mr. McLean asked if some of the cars might be the ones he would be work-
ing on and Mr. Landers said it would be possible. The work would be done
in the garage and no later than 10:00 P.M.
