COUNCIL MINUTES January 22, 2018 APPROVED ►,1A 47 Consider Resolution No. 18-0 7, Authorizing Issuance 48 Of a Special Event Permit to hold the annual Centennial 49 Lions Iee Fishing Contest on Centerville Lake Approved 50 51 Consider Resolution No. 1 &08, Approving a Peddler 52 License for Edward Jones Financial Approved 53 54 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT 55 56 There was no report from the Finance Department. 57 58 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 59 60 3A) Consider Resolution No. 18-09, Approving an On -Sale Liquor with Sunday Sales 61 License for Katana Sushi - City Clerk Bartell reported that the city has received an application for 62 an On -Sale with Sunday Sales liquor license for a new restaurant called Katana. Sushi that plans to 63 open about March 1 at 730 Apollo Drive. Their application process is complete, the related fees have 64 been paid and insurance information has been provided to the City as required. In accordance with 65 the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances, this application requires approval by the City Council. 66 67 Council Member Mamney moved to approve Resolution No. 18-09 as presented. Council Member 68 Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 69 70 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 71 72 There was no report from the Public Safety Department, 73 74 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 75 76 There was no report from the Public Services Department. 77 78 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 79 80 6A) Public Hearing: West Shadow Lake Area Municipal Utility Extension — City Engineer 81 Diane Hankee reviewed a PowerPoint presentation that included information on the following: 82 83 - Map showing project area; 84 - Neighborhood meeting was held at which details were discussed; 85 - Staff is ready to submit permits to watershed and Army Corps of Engineers; 86 - Council will receive an update on designs at next work session; 87 - With roadway project under consideration, it is appropriate to consider the addition of 88 municipal utilities; the area includes some aged systems; 89 - Review of proposed improvements; 90 - Water and sewer lines proposed drawn on a map;
