5 <br /> <br />The two and three car garages do not exceed 32 feet in width. Any four car garage may exceed <br />32 feet if recessed a minimum 2 feet from the main garage facade. <br /> <br />(d) All dwellings shall comply with the Design and Construction Standards of <br />§1007.043 (2). <br /> <br />The single family dwellings comply with these standards. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 16-51 <br /> <br />This resolution details the following additional single family home Architectural Design <br />Standards: <br /> <br />1. The following are acceptable exterior materials and styles for both the single family <br />homes and the townhomes: <br /> <br />a. Exterior Materials <br />i. Vinyl, aluminum or steel siding (acceptable only on single family homes, <br />not townhomes) <br />ii. Brick <br />iii. Stone <br />iv. Stucco <br />v. Wood <br />vi. Engineered siding products such as LP board, Hardie board or similar <br /> <br />b. Styles <br />i. Lap siding <br />ii. Board and batten <br />iii. Shakes <br /> <br />2. One of the following three architectural features shall be incorporated into the single <br />family home side and rear elevations that are visible from 20th Avenue (CSAH 54), <br />Street A, and the public park: <br /> <br />a. A minimum of 4 inch window trim on side and/or rear elevations to match the <br />dimensions of the front elevation. <br /> <br />b. Incorporate trim and banding in complementary colors to add interest and <br />variety to the side and/or rear elevations. <br /> <br />c. Incorporate more than one exterior material and/or style on the side and/or rear <br />elevations. <br />Staff Comments: <br /> <br />1. The proposed single family homes meet these design standards. <br />2. The developer shall provide a map highlighting the applicable single family lots <br />abutting 20th Avenue (CSAH 54), Street A and the public park. <br />
