Mr. Grochala stated that the draft Comprehensive Plan will be going to the Planning and <br />Zoning in early March, open house in April, public hearing in May <br />B. Year End Review 2017 <br />Mr. Grochala reviewed Economic Development activities that had taken place in the past <br />year. These included: <br />• Review and amendment of the City's Incentive policy <br />• City sold land to the American Legion for a parking lot. <br />• 133 new residential permits were issued. The city anticipates that will increase <br />in 2018. <br />C. Project Updates <br />Mr. Grochala provided an overview of current projects. <br />• New commercial building, All Seasons Rental, will be expanding. <br />• Mini mobile moved out of industrial park. <br />• Anoka County is proposing to pave Otter Lake Road from J to Cedar Street in <br />2018. West Shadow Lake and LaMotte will have work done this year. <br />• City Council will be considering preparation of plans for extending utilities to <br />the 49 and CR J area. <br />• A daycare center submitted a land use application for 49Birch Street. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:09 AM. <br />
