Planning & Zoning Board February 14, 2017 Page 3 APPROVED MINUTES  Appreciated Mr. Stimpson’s comment about the view  Easement from the trail to Woodduck Trail  Street C dead ends at the end of 8024 Woodduck Trail but planned to continue in the future  Planned traffic control changes Dr. Randy Winkler, 8045 Woodduck Trail  Meeting on Valentine’s Day night and Ash Wednesday  Caucus did not receive public hearing notice  Meeting not on reader board  Difficult turning onto Main Street  Environmental impact  Wells and water tables  Several new developments going on in the area  How does this effect resident property taxes Tim Kessler, 601 Main Street  Previously crop land  East of property, 8-12 inches of water  Take into consideration tree removal  Time line of this project Vice Chair Root addressed resident comments  Bike lane and trail along Main Street o Ms. Larsen stated the trail would be constructed along Main where the project is constructed and possibly to Woodduck Trail if feasible o Mr. Grochala stated that the City would be using the City’s existing right of way  Street C continues to Woodduck Trail o Ms. Larsen stated that it is up to the property owner, not a City driven project o Mr. Stimpson stated that there should be minimal traffic going to the dead end o Ms. Larsen stated the City was cognitive where the road extension is aligned  Joe Laforte, 8045 Woodduck Trail, asked for the purpose of entering off of Woodduck Trail due to the extension  Dr. Winkler stated that the design seems wrong  Mr. Grochala stated that they need to provide opportunity for access with the development and looking towards what it will happen in the future  Mr. Laden stated that having a connection here provides an alternative route to get onto Main Street  Mr. Laforte stated that it is dangerous to turn left onto Main from Woodduck Trail
