Planning & Zoning Board <br />February 14, 2017 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br /> Appreciated Mr. Stimpson’s comment about the view <br /> Easement from the trail to Woodduck Trail <br /> Street C dead ends at the end of 8024 Woodduck Trail but planned to continue <br />in the future <br /> Planned traffic control changes <br /> <br />Dr. Randy Winkler, 8045 Woodduck Trail <br /> Meeting on Valentine’s Day night and Ash Wednesday <br /> Caucus did not receive public hearing notice <br /> Meeting not on reader board <br /> Difficult turning onto Main Street <br /> Environmental impact <br /> Wells and water tables <br /> Several new developments going on in the area <br /> How does this effect resident property taxes <br /> <br />Tim Kessler, 601 Main Street <br /> Previously crop land <br /> East of property, 8-12 inches of water <br /> Take into consideration tree removal <br /> Time line of this project <br /> <br />Vice Chair Root addressed resident comments <br /> Bike lane and trail along Main Street <br />o Ms. Larsen stated the trail would be constructed along Main where the <br />project is constructed and possibly to Woodduck Trail if feasible <br />o Mr. Grochala stated that the City would be using the City’s existing <br />right of way <br /> Street C continues to Woodduck Trail <br />o Ms. Larsen stated that it is up to the property owner, not a City driven <br />project <br />o Mr. Stimpson stated that there should be minimal traffic going to the <br />dead end <br />o Ms. Larsen stated the City was cognitive where the road extension is <br />aligned <br /> Joe Laforte, 8045 Woodduck Trail, asked for the purpose of entering off of <br />Woodduck Trail due to the extension <br /> Dr. Winkler stated that the design seems wrong <br /> Mr. Grochala stated that they need to provide opportunity for access with the <br />development and looking towards what it will happen in the future <br /> Mr. Laden stated that having a connection here provides an alternative route <br />to get onto Main Street <br /> Mr. Laforte stated that it is dangerous to turn left onto Main from Woodduck <br />Trail
