ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGh OF LINO LAKES
<br /> AN ORDINANC�� REPEALING ORDINANCE # 15 OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ESTABLISHING
<br /> THE OFFICE OF FIRE MARSHALL AND REGULATING THE STARTING OF GRASS FIRES, THE
<br /> BURNING OVER OF LAND, AND THE BURNING OF RUBBISH AND COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, AND
<br /> FIXING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF
<br /> The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes do ordain:
<br /> SECTION I. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
<br /> to burn rubbish,, trash, paper, or other combustible .materials in the Village
<br /> of Lino Lakes, except between the hours of 5 o1clock, P. M. and 9 otclock, P. M.
<br /> on Monday through Friday of each week and between the hours of 7 o'clock., A. M.
<br /> and 9 o'clock., P. M. on Saturdays., Sundays and holidays, without first procuring
<br /> from the Fire Marshall of said Village, or his authorized deputy, a permit
<br /> for so doing. Combustible materials shall be burned during the authorized
<br /> hours, only within a safely constructed burner or similar devise which will
<br /> confine the burning particles. No such burners shall be placed within 15
<br /> feet of any flammable material, building or structure.
<br /> SECTION II. No ashes., smoldering coals,, embers, greasy or oily substances,
<br /> 0 C�
<br /> nor other matter subject to spontaneous combustion shall)kieposited within 10 feet
<br /> of any wooden or plastered wall, partition, fence, floor, lumber., hay, shavings,
<br /> rubbish or other combustible materialsl except in metallic or other non combustible
<br /> receptacles. Such non combustible receptacles, unless resting on the ground
<br /> outside the building., shall be placed on non combustible stands, and in every
<br /> case shall be kept at least 2 feet from any wall or partition.
<br /> SECTION III. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
<br /> to start any grass firing in the Village of Lino Lakes, or burn over any lot,
<br /> piece or parcel of land in said Village, or cause, permit or allow the same to
<br /> be done, without first procuring from the Fire Marshall of the said Village,
<br /> or his authorized deputy, a permit for so doing.
<br /> SECTION IV. All burning permits shall fix the time when and state the
<br /> conditions under which said burning shall be done. Except as hereinbefore
<br /> provided, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to set,
<br /> maintain or kindle a fire contrary to the conditions set forth in said permit,
<br /> or at any time other than stated in said permit.
<br /> SECTION V. No parent shall permit, authorize, or allow a minor child
<br /> to perform any act prohibited in Section I., II, or III hereof -
