(I) Fences which are 90% open (barb wire, cyclone woven wire, and <br /> other similar type fences) which are for the sole purpose of con- <br /> taining non-domestic animals are not subject to the provisions of <br /> this Ordinance and do not require a building permit. <br /> 4.19 HOME OCCUPATIONS <br /> Home occupation uses may include professional offices, minor repair <br /> services , photo or art studio, dressmaking, or teaching limited to <br /> three (3) students at any one time and similar uses; however, a home <br /> occupation shall not be interpreted to include barber shops, beauty <br /> shops, tourist homes, restaurarkts, or similar uses . Home occupations <br /> which create a need for more than three parking spaces at any given <br /> time in addition to the parking spaces required by the occupants shall <br /> not be permitted. Hoare occupations shall not be permitted in any <br /> accessory building. <br /> 4.20 EXTERIOR STORAGE <br /> In all districts, the Village Councilmay order the owner of any property <br /> to apply for a special use permit to conduct an open storage use includ- <br /> ing existing uses, provided it is found that said use constitutes a threat <br /> to the public health, safety, convenience, morals, or general welfare. <br /> 4.21 LAKE FRONTAGE LOTS <br /> All lots having frontage on a lake shall be governed in the following <br /> manner: <br /> (A) No principal building shall be located within seventy-five (75) <br /> feet of the normal waterline nor within twenty-five (25) feet of <br /> the ordinary high water line; said lines shall be as established <br /> by the village engineer referenced to sea level datum by means <br /> of a permanent bench mark. <br /> (B) Waterfront uses shall be maintained in a safe, orderly, and effi- <br /> cient manner that presents a good appearance from the water; the <br /> Village Council may require lakeshore lot to secure a special use <br /> permit if deemed necessary to protect lake frontage from adverse <br /> conditions affecting the public. <br /> (C) To the extent feasible and practicable, shorelines shall be maintained <br /> so as to present a natural or landscaped appearance. <br /> 4.22 STREAM LOTS <br /> All lots which are adjacent to a drainage way (flowing stream that flows <br /> on an average of at least 30 continuous days the average year) shall be <br /> subject to flood plain zoning. In any event, theVillage Council may <br /> require added building setback from the stream and may also require <br /> dedication of a drainage easement. If additional land is desired for <br /> public access, a building permit' shall not be issued for at least 90 <br /> -12- <br />
