SECTION 12. Repair of Public Right of Way and Gas Lines. <br />(1) No connection to the municipal sanitary sewer system <br />shall be finally approved until all streets, pavements, curbs and <br />boulevards or other public improvements thereon have been restored <br />to their former condition to the satisfaction of the Village Engineer. <br />(2) Whenever any licensee hereunder or any other person en- <br />gaged in making a connection to the municipal sanitary sewer system <br />shall damage the coating on any gas mains or gas lines, such damage <br />shall be promptly reported by the person causing such damage to the <br />proper utility company before such gas line or gas main is covered <br />with earth. Failure to make such report shall be considered a <br />violation of this Ordinance subject to penalties herein imposed. <br />SECTION 13. Variances. The Village Plumbing Inspector may <br />permit variations from the strict application of any of the pro- <br />vision of this Ordinance if he is satisfied that there are special <br />circumstances or conditions affecting the premises for which the <br />variance is requested and that the granting of such variation will <br />not materially affect adversely health, safety, or general welfare <br />or public or private property. Any variation permitted under this <br />provision must be noted on the permit. <br />SECTION 14. Rates and Charges. <br />(A) (1) The following rates and charges, which shall be paid <br />quarterly, based upon the following schedule of water service meter <br />sizes are hereby established for all sanitary sewer services for <br />each single family dwelling, two family dwelling, government build- <br />ing, church or schoolhouse sewer connection furnished by the Village <br />for each: <br />WATER SERVICE ANNUAL SEWER <br />METER SIZE RENTAL CHARGE <br />5/8" or less <br />3/4" <br />1" <br />11/4" <br />$ 48.00 <br />52.00 <br />64.00 <br />72.00 <br />Charges for larger meter sizes and other types of users shall be as <br />set by the Village Council by resolution. <br />The rates set forth in this paragraph shall be subject to change <br />by resolution of the Village Council from time to time. <br />(2) Where property shall be connected with the Village public <br />sewer system and shall be served by private water supply and not <br />equipped with a water service meter, the following schedule shall <br />be used to determine the equivalent water service meter size for <br />determining the annual sewer rental charge, as set forth above: <br />
