SECTION 15. RETIREMENT FUNDS. All Police Officers shall be enrolled in the Public Employees Retirement Association and Social Security as required by State Law. Any other benefits for retirement or pension shall be determined by the Council resolution. ' SECTION 16. Members of the Lino Lakes Police Department, other than the Police Chief, may be given a rank or designation in the order of Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Corporal. and Patrolman. The order of Command shall flow from the Police Chief downward in such order as listed, each member being responsible to his superior officer. Such ranks and the rules of qualification for any of such positions Mall be as established by the City Council. SECTION 17. The Lino Lakes Police Department shall keep a daily record of all such Police Department activity within the City of Lino Lakes, as prescribed by the City Council, which record shall be open to the members of the City Council, City Clerk, and City Attorney, only. SECTION 18. A badge, complete uniform and such other insignia or evidence of identification and equipment, including firearms, as the Police Chief may prescribe and authorize, shall be issued to the members of the Lino Lakes Police Department, with approval of the City Council and at the e,:pense of the City of Lino Lakes. All such City property issued to any sach member shall be returned, in good condition, to the City, forthwith, upon termination of employment and each such member shall be responsible for and liable for each such item and the proper care thereof while same is in his possession. SECTION 19. No person not a valid member of the Lino Lakes Police 8apartment shall: 1. Wear, carry or display an identification card, badge, cap, or insignia or uniform of the Lino Lakes Police Department or hold any item out to be such. 2. In any manner represent himself to be connected with the Lino Lakes Police Department. SECTION 20. The badge and cap assigned may be worn only while a member of the Lino Lakes Police Department is on actual duty as assigned. SECTION 21. Whoever in any manner violates or fails to comply with any of the terms of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00 or be imprisioned for not more than 90 days, or both, together with the costs of presecution in either case.
